Carley graduated with a bachelor’s degree from The University of Arizona in 2014. Her career goal is to become a veterinarian – specializing in shelter or feline medicine. Prior to joining our clinic, Carley worked at an animal emergency facility where she learned to triage, identify emergencies and assist pet parents in their most vulnerable times. She enjoys learning about neonatal care, ophthalmology and the human animal bond.
Her pets include three black cats: Harlee, Quinn and Ollie T. Harlee and Quinn entered Carley’s life when they were just a week old. Carley and her mom bottle fed and nursed them back to health and the pair never left. Ollie T, an orphan named after Oliver Twist, is a foster failure who was syringe fed at a couple weeks old. She also co-owns Benson, a rambunctious 80 lb American Bulldog/Standard Poodle Mix.
She enjoys drinking coffee, trying new breakfast places, animal fostering, traveling, hiking and skiing in her spare time.
